  2. I am still praying for our son Karl and in total peace that our Lord has the final plan in place! He will be leaving for China tomorrow for a week, then New York with friends, and completing this trip working in Chicago for 3 weeks and staying with friends. My MAIN news is that I will be taking a 3.5 month home health visits nursing job in SanFrancisco to be near him beginning Aug 12 , going to his wonderful church with him again, he is open to that, and will be there for his 30th Birthday in November and celebrate Thanksgiving there. May the Lord make it a big Thanksgiving ! My husband George will be with me for 10 days in the beginning and at the end. I am praying that the Lord lead me to open doors for our son to honor Him within the church community and that being away from home will not affect our marriage, my husband has some health/memory issues, nothing severe, he will be in charge of our pets, 4 dogs and box turtle. We can’t afford leaving them in the care of a pet sitter for too long. I will take one dog with me, he was actually our sons dog , older/ calm , I won’t be as lonely either. The place I am staying is part of a home that rents through Airbnb and a lovely Russian Jewish couple that knows me. My earnings will be good, but my MAIN goal is to be with our son, spend time just loving him and letting him see the Lord in our lives. We have a daughter and 2 grandsons we usually help babysit up to 6 days a week for the last 3 years, but she has made arrangements to work day hours, use an after school free program for the 5 year old boy with speech delays, the 2 year old boy is in preschool on a scholarship , God is so good! She was so codependent on us parents that it was destroying all of us in many ways. Burn out big time. Now she can be an adult in this way and feel successful. Her marriage ended during the 2nd pregnancy, her husband abandoned her and the boys after abusing her and the 2 year old little guy , locked them in the apt for months, no friends allowed, and our church assisted her to get out of that area to live with us. So……you can see we have some burdens but so many joys as the grandkids have been given a second chance to thrive. Unfortunately the ex husband has them for Summer and holidays, refuses to work, unemployed, no child support for our daughter is his plan to punish her. Geez, this is way too long, but I just wanted to share that in all these circumstances I have felt joy in knowing that I have Jesus to turn to, He will be the ultimate Father and peace will prevail. Thanks for prayer 🙏 Maria
